Can you refuse the field sobriety tests in Ohio?

Yes, you don’t have to take the field sobriety tests.  You can refuse to take them just like you can refuse to take the breathalyzer.  A good response to an officer who asks you to perform a field sobriety test is:  you don’t wish to perform them not because you are impaired but because you feel that you wouldn’t perform well on the test due to some physical limitation.
