Can I live Near a School if I am a Sex Offender?

If you have been convicted of a sex offense and been classified as a sexual offender you CANNONT live within 1,000 of a school.  It is not a crime to do so however, you could face civil penalties such as eviction or other injunctive relief.  You should also be aware that some municipalities might have enhanced geographic restrictions for sexual offenders.  Meaning that the prohibited area is greater than 1,000 feet from a school.
